Alexander Farquhar (Drumnadrochit)

21.04.1934 – 06.06.2026

It is with immense sadness we share the news that Alex Ross Farquhar passed away on Saturday 6th June, aged 92. Achmonie Farm, Drumnadrochit. We will particularly remember him as an avid adventurer, perpetual entrepreneur, truly gifted musician, devoted politician, continually successful businessman, accomplished sportsman and horseman, loyal friend and most of all he will be lovingly treasured as husband to Minkie, as father to Jackie, Gail and Sarah and as a grandfather and great grandfather to his 9 wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. A service of celebration will be held on Wednesday 24th June at 12 noon in Urquhart and Glenmoriston Parish Church, Drumnadrochit. A warm welcome to all. Family flowers only please.
