Ian Ruari Ross (Fife)

Sadly, our beloved dad and Seanair, Ian Ruari Ross, passed away on Tuesday 7th July 2026 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, with great courage he fought a short battle with cancer and is now at peace, aged 65 years. A doting father to Duncan, Kirsty and Iona, much loved father-in-law to Johnny and Gregor, beloved Seanair to Grace, Jackson and Eilidh and cherished brother to Alex, Donald and the late Jane. A good friend to many who will be sadly missed. A celebration of Ian’s life will take place on Friday 17th July at 12 Noon in Plockton Hall; thereafter to Balmacara Cemetery. As Ian’s last request, the family invite you to meet at Plockton main pier at 10.45am to walk with Ian to the Hall. Donations are invited for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland at the service. Flowers are welcome. All invited, bright colours encouraged.
