Peacefully at Urray House Care Home on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, James Ferguson ‘Jimmy’ Hardie, known to older family as Sonny of Viewfield, Ruilick, Beauly, formerly of Reelig, aged 92 years. Low Loader Driver with Duncan Logan Ltd, Muir of Ord and also Highland Council. Most loving husband of Margaret nee Morrison for over 67 years, much-loved dad of Ken and Ron, father-in-law of Frances and Claire, granda of Josh, Justine, Euan and Rob, great-granda of Olivia, Austin and Wee James. Funeral service on Monday, 21st September at 12.00 noon in the funeral home of William T Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness. All welcome to attend.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Sonny for Urray House Residents Fund may be given at the service or via the funeral directors.
