Remembering

Paul Nichol (Inverness)

Paul Nichol (Inverness)

We are heartbroken to share the news that on Thursday 12th November 2020, whilst out doing something he loved so much, our beloved Paul Nichol died in a Gyrocopter accident. He was an amazing, loving husband to me Hazel (Passmore) Nichol, a dearly loved brother of Martin, Chris and Sally, brother-in-law to Derek and Cheryl, a devoted nephew to Belinda and Margaret and deeply loved by many other family members. A Civil Engineer, he was a colleague and friend to many at RJ Macleod Contractors (recently retired) and a wonderful friend to so many more. The funeral car will pass the family home at 56 Braeside Park, Balloch, Inverness at 11:00am on Thursday 3rd December 2020, should anyone wish to be present to line up to pay their respects. No black, please dress happy – thank you. The cremation service will be private but we will celebrate Paul’s love of life with a Humanist Memorial Service at 2.00pm on Tuesday 8th December, 2020 in the funeral home of William T Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness.  Donations for NHS Grampian Endowment Fund in memory of Paul can be made via https://www.nhsgcharities.com/donate.

From the list of funds choose ABERDEEN ROYAL INFIRMARY then CARDIAC SURGERY.

A recording of Paul’s memorial service is available on request.
