Peacefully after a short illness at Urray House with her family by her side on January 7th, 2021, Thelma Morrison aged 85 years. Former primary teacher. Beloved wife of the late John Alick Morrison, much loved mum of Lynn and Iain, sister of the late Lawrence Wilson, dear mother-in-law of Rognvald and Fiona, cherished granny of Sarah, Euan, Fiona, Calum and Andrew and friend to many. Sadly missed. With grateful thanks to all NHS, Urray House and Highland Home Carers staff involved in Thelma’s care. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will take place on Friday 15th January, 2021at 12 Noon in the funeral home of William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Thelma are invited for Alzheimer Scotland. The funeral cortège will pass through Beauly between 1:00pm and 1:15pm, today, (Friday 15th January, 2021) en route to the interment at Kilmorack cemetery.
