ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

The family of the late James Welch (Jimmy) would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours for cards, flowers and kind expressions of sympathy extended to them following their recent lost. Grateful thanks to the doctors and nurses at Nairn and County Hospital for their care over the years, and the recent attention by carers at Castlehill Care Home. Special thanks to the Rev Fiona Morrison for her comforting service, the staff at William T Fraser and Son, Funeral Directors, for their help and caring guidance, and the Star Inn for their hospitality. Also, sincere thanks to everyone who attended the funeral service and generously donated £730 towards Guide Dogs and Dementia UK.

Peacefully in the excellent care of Castlehill Care Home, Inverness, on Saturday 14th May 2022, James Welch (Jimmy), aged 94 years. Retired gamekeeper of Cawdor and Clava Estate. Beloved husband of the late Bessie, much loved dad to Brenda, dear father-in-law to Bruce, uncle and a good friend to many. Funeral service on Tuesday 31st May at 12.30 pm in Ardersier Parish Church, thereafter to Ardersier Cemetery. All welcome to attend. Donations, if desired, in memory of Jimmy to Guide Dogs for the Blind and Dementia UK are welcome at the service or via William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness.
